Old Navy socks used to be the only socks i ever wore, however I found their basic "womens sport sock" were not the greatest over time. They eventually they shrink in the wash which results in them falling down your ankle, (and no one likes someone who has a fricken rubbed off blistered ankle from their socks falling down and there shoes rubbbing it!). I suppose you could just not dry these in the dryer, however even after a full cycle in the dryer these still come out wet! These socks are so thick that they usually require more than one drying cycle, so I can't imagine letting these air dry would be much quicker. These socks I do believe are well priced, and definitely on the lower price scale for a sport sock. The socks provide a good cushion, but also when they wear out produce a weird texture to the socks almost like a dried out ball off lint.

| Above is a picture of my feet in the socks, I believe you can see how they sit low on my ankle, granted these have been washed more times than I can count. However I believe socks should be able to withstand the wash as you can only wear them once before washing. |
