Not Socks, But Awesome. GREEN APPLE

I do not understand how I lived my life without the brand Green Apple, they are the best thing since the invention of inventions. They are a yoga based clothing company, that makes clothing primarily made of bamboo. I had the pleasure of discovering them in 'Marshall's', I found a purchased their brand of yoga pants, after my sister found them and was in love with them. They are honestly the best, softest, most properly lengthed pants, I have ever discovered. They are actually long enough for someone at least 5'7"(anyone around this height knows that its not easy finding those), and don't shrink after drying. I bought the yogas for I believe $17.99. Later I have found other things made by them, shirts, shorts, sports bras, yoga tops, and they all are equally fantastic. However, if you go to their website you will like spend upwards of $35-50 for a pair of pants. So, your safest bet is to hit up 'Marshalls' or possibly 'T.J Maxx' though I have never looked there. There is not a word great enough to describe the quality and comfortable-ness of these clothes. But in the words of Levar Burton, "You don't have to take my word for it" go buy them for yourself and come back and tell me they're not the best thing ever.(side note the bottoms are actually made so you can cut them to your perfect length)

Here is their website
This is the symbol on my yoga shorts, however their new symbol is a green  apple with a peace sign. But both come from the same brand
and their sale items are fairly priced , so if you dont have a Marshalls , start there

OLD NAVY number 2

A little while after I realized all of my socks were worn out, too small, holy, and all around in terrible shape. I decided that I needed new socks. This sent me on the adventure of my life, I never new what my feet were missing out on. The modern technology and knowledge we put towards little clothes for our feet is astonishing. I seriously want to sit in on a product research forum for socks.

Anyway I digress, so in my grand adventure of socks I discovered the "Old Navy Women's Compression Socks". These socks have the great technology of the what i kindly refer to as the 'Squishy Middle'. These help work to stop the problem of socks sliding down your foot , as they hold tight in your arch. This also provides a nice support feel, even in the crummiest of shoes. The socks are made to be worn for runners, so they come with this little tab on the heel to prevent (at least this is my guess..) the running sneaker from rubbing your foot. Solving a bit of the problem from the other Old Navy socks. The socks however are not made out of a soft cotton ,but of nylon and spandex, so if you are a soft sock kinda guy these are not for you. My one complaint with these socks is that sometimes they can be tooooo compression-y,  (read: sometimes it feels like your feet are wearing little spanx.) So for extended periods of time can cause discomfort.

These Socks Receive: 3 Heels Up

OLD NAVY

Old Navy socks used to be the only socks i ever wore, however I found their basic "womens sport sock" were not the greatest over time. They eventually they shrink in the wash which results in them falling down your ankle, (and no one likes someone who has a fricken rubbed off blistered ankle from their socks falling down and there shoes rubbbing it!). I suppose you could just not dry these in the dryer, however even after a full cycle in the dryer these still come out wet! These socks are so thick that they usually require more than one drying cycle, so I can't imagine letting these air dry would be much quicker. These socks I do believe are well priced, and definitely on the lower price scale for a sport sock. The socks provide a good cushion, but also when they wear out produce a weird texture to the socks almost like a dried out ball off lint.

These Socks Receive 3 Heels Up (on a "heel scale" of 5)

If you are interested in purchasing them, you can buy them here in packs of 3 or in any Old Navy store.

Above is a picture of my feet in the socks, I believe you can see how they sit low on my ankle, granted these have been washed more times than I can count. However I believe socks should be able to withstand the wash as you can only wear them once before washing.

I am not responsible for any blisters or wet socks if you choose to buy them, I also apologize if you find these to be the best socks ever.

introduction

This blog is pretty much a blog about an obsession with socks and occasionally other things, from the perspective of a teenager. Hope you guys like it, i don't claim to be an expert but i promise you these are my own honest opinions. I truly love any brand or particular brand i mention, and am not paid for any mention. Thanks hope you like it!
